Notification of a new trust service
Trust service provider’s notification of commencing operations.
Under the EU eIDAS Regulation, a provider of qualified trust services must submit a notification to the supervisory authority before commencing operations. The notification must be accompanied by a conformity assessment report issued by a conformity assessment body. The purpose of Guideline 214/2016 O Electronic identification and trust service notifications is to specify the information which operators must provide for the supervisory authority in statutory notifications. The Guideline also describes the notification processes.
Criteria for charges
Registration and monitoring fees paid to the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom are provided in section 47 of the Act on Strong Electronic Identification and Trust Services.
