The accessibility report of the Report an information security incident form

The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom strives to guarantee the accessibility of this questionnaire in compliance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019).

This accessibility report concerns the Report an information security incident form.

Website accessibility status

This form is partially compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. Failure to comply with the requirements is mentioned below.

The content below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

Non-compliance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019)

  • Text spacing: Text spacing cannot be edited (WCAG 1.4.12).
  • Text alternatives: Text alternatives missing for visual elements for e.g. logo links. (WCAG 1.1.1, 2.4.4)
  • Titles: There are individual deficiencies in the use of the title levels. A non-title is programmatically marked as a title. The header of the page does not always describe the purpose of the page. (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.6)
  • Lists: Some visual listings are not programmatically marked as lists. The form has used a list of definitions for places where it is not applicable. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • The quality of the HTML code: There are some deficiencies in the HTML code (WCAG 4.1.1).
  • Names of web pages: The page name is set to be the URL of the site. (WCAG 2.4.2)
  • Alignment order: In the case of additional options that open from the selection, the alignment does not always move logically. (WCAG 2.4.3)
  • Forms:
    • The purposes of form fields have not been defined programmatically. (WCAG 1.3.5)
    • The form has a form field that does not have an identification tag. (WCAG 2.4.6, 3.3.2)
    • An unclear aria label has been given to the selection items of the form. (WCAG 4.1.2)
    • Selecting a date has not been marked programmatically as a group. (WCAG 1.3.1)
    • The programmatical name of some form fields is especially long. For example, information about additional information has been attached to the name twice. (WCAG 1.3.1)
    • For mandatory selection buttons, the visible and heard name does not always match. (WCAG 2.5.3)
    • Error messages are not always descriptive. (WCAG 3.3.3)
    • Language menu: The programmatic implementation of the language menu is incomplete; the language menu is not a programmatically interactive element and the status of the language menu (opened/closed) is not defined.  The language menu is named in Finnish, in which case a screen reader user that does not understand Finnish cannot make sense of it. (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.4, 4.1.2)
  • Progress path: The progress path has been given an undescriptive name. (WCAG 2.4.6)
  • Footer: Through the use of a screen reader, information not belonging to the footer is being read. (WCAG 1.3.2)
